A new fence is being built along the Rose Garden boundary to replace the old one which has done valiant service for many years. It looks like large moles have taken up residence as holes are dug for the new fence posts. Good progress has been made, but gardens at the back of adjoining properties have suddenly been exposed to the passerby. Our dog has been on constant alert, dashing to the boundary to bark a warning at anyone spending a few quiet minutes in contemplation that they mustn't come onto his place . I follow behind to apologise for the disturbance and assure them the wagging tail is the best indicator of his ferocity level! We'll both be delighted when our section of fence is built and we can once again resume our peaceful privacy. |
